GWENDOLYN (“WENDY”) JONES, MD is from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She graduated from Barnard College in New York City, went to medical school at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, and completed a combined residency in Pediatrics/Psychiatry/Child Psychiatry in Honolulu, Hawaii. She is board certified in child/adolescent psychiatry and adult psychiatry. She joined Sandhills Pediatrics in December 2013. Her interests include the prevention of psychiatric and behavioral problems and the integration of behavioral health into primary care. She also has additional training in caring for patients with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorders. She is available to established Sandhills Pediatrics patients.
