Full Time in Seven Lakes Location. This position will be responsible for checking all insurance company websites for eligibility and plan details daily for all office locations. Will be responsible for expiring old insurance and adding new insurance information in EHR. Will assist patient account representatives and fill in in their absences with duties including: payment posting, oversee claim processing, work claim denials, send claim letters, audit and review claim payments, prepare refund paperwork, answer billing inquiries, work A/R regularly. Will provide backup for the front desk when needed. High School Diploma or Associates Degree. Previous 2 years experience in a medical office setting. Position is located in the Seven Lakes office but must be available to work weekends on a rotating schedule in the Southern Pines location.
