completed her pediatric nurse practitioner training at Duke University School of Nursing. Before entering primary care, she served for five years as an active duty Army nurse specializing in critical care. She has special interests in supporting military families as they transition to new communities, helping children and families navigate type 1 diabetes, and empowering new parents. Her husband is active duty Army, and they have two young daughters and a doberman. As a family, they love spending time outdoors, exploring new places, and staying active together.
