Duties include answering phones, scheduling appointments, greeting patients, verifying and updating all demographic and insurance information, checking insurance eligibility and collecting co-pays.
Must be able to communicate effectively and be proficient in English and Spanish language both orally and written. Spanish language translator/interpreter for office visits, phone, correspondence, office forms, etc. Conveys EXACT message (non-subjective). Ensures that information pertaining to medical care is accurately communicated to patients/families. Provides interpreter services and conveys exact message (non-subjective). Ensures that patient questions/concerns, etc. are appropriately addressed and/or communicated to appropriate staff for resolution.
Prefer candidate with 1 – 2 years experience performing similar duties. Associate Degree is preferred. May work some Saturdays/Sundays/Holidays on a rotating basis.
