grew up in Denville, New Jersey. She graduated summa cum laude from Quinnipiac University with honors in behavioral neuroscience. She then completed medical school and pediatric residency training at Monroe Carrell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. She enjoys the breadth of pediatrics, but has special interests in the management of obesity, asthma, and Down syndrome. Dr. Metro is a proud Army spouse and mom-to-be. In her free time, she enjoys reading, exercise, and spending time outside with her English mastiff.
