received her undergraduate degree with honors in Biology from Wake Forest University.  She graduated from Wake Forest University  School of Medicine in 1999 and then attended the University of Alabama Children’s hospital for residency.  She has been certified by the American Board of Pediatrics since 2002.   She promotes healthy living gained through a balanced diet and exercise and advocates for mental well being.  Dr. Bennett-Cain is proficient in Spanish.  She is married and has 2 children.  She enjoys running, swimming and reading.
