was born and raised in Moore County. She completed her undergraduate nursing degree at Sandhills Community College in 2009. Michelle spent 11 years of her career working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit taking care of preterm and term infants with complex medical needs.

Michelle graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2020 with her Master’s Degree in Nursing in the Family Nurse Practitioner program. Her special interests include care of the newborn and breastfeeding. In her spare time, Michelle enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and two kids.
