Scott Sexton, MD is from Cartersville, GA. He attended undergraduate school at the University of Georgia and medical school at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He completed his pediatric residency at Duke University. He lives in Southern Pines with his wife and two children. While he enjoys the breadth of community pediatrics, he focuses on behavioral health, breastfeeding, complex care and healthy living. Dr. Sexton is board certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics. He joined Sandhills Pediatrics in 2020.
